The Akaal Heritage Foundation was established by Sikh historian and antiques collector Sat Singh (SL Antiques), whose passion lies in meticulously researching the history of the Sikhs, Punjab, and the Indian Subcontinent.
Sat Singh has brokered the sale of hundreds of antiques, collectibles, and artifacts with esteemed auction houses in the UK, such as Bonhams and Mullocks auctioneers.
Over the past 15 years Sat’s profound interests and expertise in research and curation have culminated in the unearthing of numerous treasures that evoke nostalgia for a bygone era. With an unwavering commitment to the preservation and safeguarding of these unique artefacts Akaal Heritage diligently seeks new acquisitions to enrich our ever-expanding private collection.
Akaal Heritage has forged connections with collectors and dealers globally and has collaborated with distinguished museums, galleries, and exhibitions in the UK, including SOAS, Art Fund, the National Army Museum (NAM), and the UK Punjab Heritage Association.
Many items from our private collection have been instrumental in scholarly research, featured in various mainstream publications, and loaned to prominent heritage institutions.
We are planning various fine art & educational projects on the rich history of the Sikh empire, Historical monuments of the Punjab & Indian subcontinent.
Learn more about our upcoming projects Sarkar-E-Khalsa ‘Kingdom of the Punjab’ series & our long awaited collaboration with ArtBySanB ‘Lake of immortal nector’ series celebrating the holiest Sikh shrine , the Golden temple at Amritsar.
Support our foundation by buying some limited edition fine art or collectables. Your support allows us to continue further archival research and help us to raise funds for the discovery & acquisition of new historical documents and artefacts.
You could help our projects if you have any information, items or stories relating to the Sikhs or Punjab.
Further information would help with current and future projects. You can easily get in touch via the contact page, where we will be able to assist you.
We are always interested in buying artefacts & collectables relating to the Sikhs and are constantly on the look out for new items, be it single pieces or whole collections.
We will consider any collectables and have a particular interest on pre-1947 partition Sikh, Amritsar or Punjab including Sikhs in the British Indian Army.
